Fellow Democrats,
I am thrilled to share that we have just secured the largest single contribution in the history of the Marion County Democratic Party.
This $180,000 contribution is the result of years of close work between MCDP and the Southside Democrat Club, which recently sold its longtime club building on Shelby Street in Fountain Square.
On behalf of Marion County Democrats, I want to thank the members and leadership of the Southside Democrat Club for this generous contribution. It will enable us to hire full-time staff and ramp up year-round organizing, including voter registration and education efforts.
As we look to the future, the Marion County Democratic Party will continue to build our record of success here in Indianapolis and to push for a more progressive state overall.
We will defend every single elected Democrat in Marion County!
We will elect Democratic Mayors, county-wide leaders, council members, township officials and will pick up seats in the Statehouse!
And, we will honor the legacy of the Southside Democrat Club by engaging with our neighbors and building a strong grassroots organization that welcomes voters from every precinct in the city!
There is much work to be done, but with this investment and your support, we will continue to elect Democrats across the county and build a better community for us all.
